Keeping Track of Life

It's a beautiful summer day, perfect for starting something new. Let's try a blog to keep track of family, friends, creations and thoughts.

My three children are my most important "creations" and are so very dear to me. My sons (24 and 20) are in the process of becoming independent adults; my daughter (15) is still a teenager with all that that involves.

My husband doesn't ever get enough time, affection or tidiness from me, but he's hanging in there. He has a good heart and a smart brain.

My teaching job takes up incredible amounts of time and energy. I love teaching, but I usually put too much of my heart and soul into it. 50-60 work hours per week are normal during the school year.

I don't have enough time to spend with other family members or friends. Not enough time to read, sew, exercise, etc. Maybe it's high time I retire!

  1. Wow, sounds like maybe you should retire. A teenager and 50 hours a week I would have to put myself to bed.
    Good luck with the blog.

  2. What do you teach? Those are long hours! Thank God for summer vacation - 2.5 months off.
